PACIFICTECH eINVOICING FOR SAGE INTACCT MAKES THE EXCHANGING OF INVOICES BETWEEN BUSINESSES MORE EFFICIENT, REDUCES ERRORS, SIGNIFICANTLY LOWERS ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS AND MOST SIGNIFICANTLY - IS MORE SECURE REDUCING THE RISK OF FRAUD.
eInvoicing is the process of exchanging invoice documents between businesses in a standardised digital format. Providing functionality similar to EDI solutions, it allows systems to ‘speak’ to each other, even if only one of the businesses are using the Sage Intacct ERP system. By automating invoice processing, eInvoicing enhances efficiency and fosters sustainability by minimizing paper use, benefiting both businesses and the environment.
eInvoicing enhances security through encrypted data transmission, reducing the risk of fraud and unauthorised access. It ensures authenticity and integrity of invoices with digital signatures and secure archiving. Additionally, automated processes minimise human error, safeguarding sensitive financial information. Compliance with regulatory standards further strengthens the security framework, providing businesses with a reliable and protected invoicing system.
Sending eInvoices:
Pacifictech Sending of eInvoices via the PEPPOL network is for both Order Entry and Accounts Receivable invoices . It facilitates streamlining of operations so organisations can leverage multiple invoice channels to deliver invoices to the buyers’ ERP systems.
Receiving eInvoices:
With Pacifictech’s eInvoicing there are 2 options to receive eInvoices:Option 1 | Direct Connect:
The eInvoice arrives from the PEPPOL network to the Pacifictech servers (”Corner 4”), then gets inserted directly into Intacct’s AP module as a draft invoice.Option 2 | Via Pacifictech AP Automation:
The eInvoice arrives from the PEPPOL network to the Pacifictech servers (”Corner 4”), then gets inserted into the Pacifictech AP Automation . This option is applicable for organizations that require more sophisticated workflow functionality than what Intacct provides.
Pacifictech has engaged an Access Point Partner for the PEPPOL component - which means that there are no additional requirements or costs. All that is needed in order for customers to be able to start receiving eInvoices is the Pacifictech Connected Service.
