National Capital District Commission (NCDC) is responsible for a wide range of areas including transport, tourism, roads and bridges, drains and traffic lights, waste management and public health in the capital of PNG. NCDC has more than 750 staff that operate from two key locations in the city.

NCDC’s senior management recognised that improvements were needed in the organisation’s purchase requisition practices and from there made the decision to streamline workflows and cut overspending with the use of Pacifictech solutions.


Van Den Brink Group

 Food Manufacturing


The Van Den Brink Group has grown to become one of New Zealand’s largest food producers. The group’s interests are primarily in poultry meat production, dairy farming and property investment.

A decision was made to find a new way of processing invoices. A number of alternatives were considered before a trial was undertaken of Pacifictech’s Payables Workflow for Sage 300. After the trial the Payables Workflow solution was deemed a success and extended to cover all companies in the group.


Evans Petroleum


Over the years the reliance on multiple applications and an inability to easily share information from different parts of the business was becoming a concern. A fellow petroleum distributor recommended Sage ERP Accpac which offered a specially developed fuel distribution software application containing much of the industry-specific functionality.  "We're getting a lot more information than we ever had before.  Accuracy at month end has improved and we're printing statements on the second or third day of the month".


Kelvin Power


The Purchasing Workflow and Funds Availability Modules have ensured that funds are spent in accordance with Kelvin Power’s overall business plan. The company is able to ensure that expenditure is made within budget, and that the best decisions are made to accommodate unplanned expenditure.




Over a two year period some substantial changes were made to the business to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Fundamental to those changes was the implementation of a comprehensive Accpac solution that allowed Petrogas to integrate their front office processes with their back office operation. "Management and staff are better able to make more effective decisions based on accurate and relevant data".




The Purchasing Workflow module, has given S*BIO better control and efficiency in managing their procurement processes.Many of the workflow features like the notification engine has helped speed up the P.O. approval process. "No more misplaced purchase orders as all documents are retrievable through the system"


Waitomo Petroleum


Waitomo Petroleum wanted to invest in a fully integrated system that was easy to use, flexible, and had long-term upgrade viability. "The industry in which we operate is both complex and changing. Our challenge was to find software that could support the unique requirements of liquid product inventory reconciliations, a complex date-based pricing system, and detailed supplier reconciliations."
